Coronavirus is a pandemic virus. The entire world is lockdown as a result of this tiny little bug. The bug is small in size but its effect is great in the world. It is affecting every aspect of our humanity. Our economy is going down the drain, schools are closed, markets are closed, businesses are locked down, and families are on a compulsory stay at home vacation.
It is not enough to pause our lives and succumb to the effect of this virus. We must do something about it. We must at least do something about the unaffected part of us - the spiritual corner. The spiritual corner is the part of our lives that connect us to the supreme being, the God Almighty. How can we maximize our communion with Him? This time of rest is a good time to do so. Let me give you some examples of how to be spiritually productive.
Take stock. How far have you driven away from God? The question is a bit challenging! Staying away from God is becoming less sensitive to His leading. It is an indication of a lack of intuitiveness to His still voice. The presence of God is eternally sure for His children. However, we can become less sensitive to Him. Take stock by recognizing His voice from the noise that surrounds you. Study the Word of God. You can easily assume that meditating on the Word of God would be one of the ways to be spiritually productive. The constant exposure to the Word of God can stimulate your interest in your relationship with Him. This time would be a good time to reestablish your relationship with Him through the Bible.
Engage in the spiritual forum. The ActiveHope forum is a good place to start engaging in spiritual warfare. You can engage with others in a virtual spiritual gathering. You can participate in an online worship service or event. It is a good avenue to fill the emptiness created by the Coronavirus.
Don't feed your fear. There is misleading information about the virus. This information is capable of creating fear in our hearts. You must be sure to prevent yourself from its effect on you. You must listen to something that would stir your faith up - the word of encouragement that would lift your faith.
Stay connected in disconnection. The society is physically separated. We must stay spiritually/emotionally connected. Staying connected to God in prayer. Pray for the world, the nations, the community, and the loved ones that are affected by this virus. It is a great way to stay spiritually active.
Stay informed. Get yourself informed. Read, read, read, and read inspiring spiritual articles that would get your ready for the new world.
