A Rescue Mission

Writer: Wealth OladeleWealth Oladele

A wounded soldier can not go on a rescue mission. A team of able soldiers performed a rescue mission with a tactical plan of conducting a successful mission - not a feeble team. A minimal to zero casualties is the goal for any rescue mission. How difficult will it be to carry out a rescue mission if you are a wounded soldier?

It will be difficult to carry so many pains and agony to rescue those in similar situations.

No wonder Paul knew that no one could do justice in a successful rescue mission except by Jesus Christ, who bore the pains of rescue on the cross for our sins. “Oh, what a miserable person I am!” Paul said. He asked, who will free us from this life of sin and death? Paul did not leave the question unanswered, thank God! He told us where to find the answer, Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 7: 24-25.

So you see the chief Rescuer, the one that can go on your behalf. You can not win the battle of sin and go on a rescue mission alone. You can not overcome by yourself, and you need the battle bearer. You need Jesus Christ.

We are on a rescue mission, and we can not afford to be feeble soldiers. Let’s embrace the backing of Jesus Christ.

Onward Christian Soldiers.
