You are part of the body of Christ. The body of Christ is overdue for a giant awakening. You can come out of the ordinary sleeping church to an extraordinarily active church. It takes a single bold step to make a change. A move is all it takes to rise to the call of God. The call of God for us is to arise by becoming sensitive to His instructions.
The instruction of God can only come from fellowship. The strength of your intimacy with God determines the confidence in your obedience. To stay awake in the spirit, you must strengthen your spiritual intimacy with God. Staying awake to God's call, you must boost your confidence in the fellowship you have with Him through obedience. Let us learn from Abraham, the father of faith.
Abraham became a little complacent about God's covenant. God instructed Abram to dwell in the land of Canaan, not as an occupant but the owner. We can easily be in the shoe of Abraham when we are not making God's covenant apparent in our daily work and approach to His call. We must go when God says go. We must conquer when God says so. We must make our walk (fellowship and obedience) with Him apparent in all we do. No room for mediocrity.
