You are special.

God chose you. For what? God chose you for His purpose and use. You are His beloved child. Maybe you are not the chosen child of your father, mother, or even friends. God is more than any position of earthly relationships. God chose you before the foundation of the earth and before your mum, dad, and friends ever existed.

Do you know you have better power to will and in a better position than the space occupied by others in your life? Yes, you do. Once you receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you have a new identity and position. God chose you to be with Him, know Him, and make Him known. To function as God's chosen child, He calls you to fellowship (be with Him and to know Him) and to tell others about Him. I encourage you to function as God's peculiar child.

You know who you are, "...you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light." 1 Peter 2:9

Go, shine, and portray the marvelous light of God in the world of darkness.
